In the context-menu of the roommanager you find the entry „Import project from gbXML“.
Existing rooms/structures, etc. will not be deleted.
A dialog appears for selecting the XML file.
Before importing, this must be checked, as different qualities of gbXML files are possible.
There are three levels of error here:
Fatal |
- An import is not possible, e.g. if no rooms are included or the version of the file is not supported (very old ones)

Failure |
- An import is possible, but the result will certainly not be correct. e.g. some files lack room boundaries or area definitions. You can read that in, but the room is then not correct.

Warning |
- For example, there is a lack of concrete definitions for the structure of the wall/windows, etc. This is set to defaults and can be changed later without any problems.. |
Since many files don't conform to the schema (sometimes more severe, sometimes less)
the message about the schema almost always appears. An import is usually still quite possible.
