Window definition

Function for calculating U-values for windows.

Access to the command over:

AutoCAD/BricsCAD

Command line: _FENSTERDEF

Assistant: | CAD-Functions |

Click on a window, in order to assign the selected U(k)-value.

Two selections are possible. A restricted and an expanded view. In the expanded view, the window can

shows detailed informations.

Glass doors with more than 60% glazing can also be used with this function.

CAUTION:

The calculation is performed per EN ISO 10077. The Norm-tables should therefore not be changed.

Dialogue-Options

Option	Description
U-value glazing	The Glazing Types Norm Table of a window can be edited.
Edit frame type	The Frame Types Norm Table of a window can be edited.
Window No.	Consecutive numbers for window designation.
Window description	Description of each window. . Description must be plain and concise..
Glazing	Determines the glazing U(k)-value. This value can be selected from the table.
Frames	Determines the frame U(k)-value. This value can be selected from the table.
U-value	The calculated window Norm-U(k)-value, that includes of frame and glazing.
Glazing factor 'g'	Equivalent to the amount of energy that escapes through the window (glazing). It is dependent on the glazing as calculated in the program.
Arch. Lichte	The window width, height and surface area. This is considered the architectural clear window width/height.
Glazing part %	Function to establish the exact glazing amount of a window according to its geometry.
CAD-Color	The window drawing color can be set as a defined object.
	It is possible to copy default-values into your project.
	It is possible to copy window-types from former projects into your project.
	All unused window-types will be deleted.
